Intimate Strangers, Brussels
Tourdates

The work of Meg Stuart is a constant search for the private in the public and her movements combine what is familiar with what is distorted, the unexpected. She never opts for one or the other but hovers in the space between them. Her characters are always in between. The five days during festival called INTIMATE STRANGERS seeks out this in between. In performances where a natural intimacy is made public, artists from the Damaged Goods context take the floor. In INTIMATE STRANGERS, dance, music, video, research and installation were presented in the Kaaitheater and the Beursschouwburg. In the in between space that separates these theatres, you can experience short performance acts in various private homes.
